What is Capital One Shopping?
At its core, Capital One Shopping is an all-in-one shopping portal and coupon shopping tool. Coupon applications discount purchase price, while the shopping portal payments results in rewards redeemable for a wide selection of gift cards.
What makes it so useful?
Through either a browser application (both desktop and mobile) or directly through their website, customers are able to take advantage of killer deals. The portal offers generally good cash-back rates, and the coupon application tool finds some genuinely impressive discounts. Over the past few years, this has saved me hundreds of dollars on dozens of transactions. The browser integration makes it wholly painless, with no complex “click through” required as is typical for other cash back portals.
My overall take is there’s some solid value here, and it’s a great tool to simply add to your browser, and take advantage of for near-automatic cash-back and discounts.
