Wells Fargo has some of the most churnable new checking account bonuses (every 12 months!) Typically there’s a $325 offer available, but right now there’s a $400 for the low, low hassle of $1,000 in direct deposits. Easy to meet requirements, to avoid any fees, and quick to cash in. What’s not to like?

My Take
Worth it. Easy money. I bit the bullet and did it, as my last Wells Fargo checking bonus was springtime 2025. Update direct deposit. Wait for the $400 to post. Clear out the account. Close the account (no fees for closing or requirement to keep it open for a certain amount of time!) Write down the dates so you know when you can do it again. I think this is Wells Fargo consumer checking #5 or 6 for me. Thanks guys.
